Create a dashboard
Dashboards group related charts and metrics into a single view. This guide walks through creating a dashboard from scratch and organizing its layout.
Create a new dashboard
Section titled “Create a new dashboard”- Go to Analytics → Dashboards.
- Click New dashboard.
- Enter a name. Use a name that reflects the audience or question the dashboard answers—for example, “Revenue by region” or “Support queue health”.
- Optionally add a description to help teammates understand the dashboard’s purpose.
- Click Create.
Add charts
Section titled “Add charts”With the dashboard open, click Add chart to insert a new visualization. Each chart is configured independently and can pull from any connected data source.

Arrange the layout
Section titled “Arrange the layout”Charts can be resized and repositioned by dragging. The grid snaps to a 12-column layout. To reorganize:
- Click Edit layout in the dashboard toolbar.
- Drag charts to new positions.
- Resize by dragging the bottom-right corner of any chart.
- Click Save layout when done.
Dashboard settings
Section titled “Dashboard settings”Access dashboard-level settings from the ⋯ menu in the header:
- Rename — Update the dashboard name and description.
- Duplicate — Copy the dashboard to a new one, including all charts and layout.
- Auto-refresh — Set a refresh interval (30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes) for live monitoring dashboards.
- Delete — Permanently removes the dashboard. Charts are not deleted and remain available as standalone components.
